Need Some Help Answering An Objection?

Home | Evil | Evidence | God | Jesus | Hell | Exclusivity | Bible

Both atheists and theists trust in things that cannot be fully demonstrated or completely understood. No worldview is devoid of unanswered questions. All of us look at the evidence in the world around us and do our best to make the most reasonable inference from this evidence. Christianity is no different. We follow the evidence to the most logical conclusion possible, then trust that our inference is correct based on its ability to account for what we see.

There are many lines of evidence that make the cumulative case for God's existence. The more we know about the complexity and interdependency of biological systems and cosmological constants, the more deficient our naturalistic explanations. The "exceptional claim" that naturalism can somehow account for the emergence of matter from non-matter, life from non-life or complexity from simplicity "demands exceptional evidence".

Many times the simplest and most thorough explanation lies just outside our grasp because we begin with the biased and limited presumption of naturalism. This section of Answers4Atheists.com provides a variety of very brief responses to objections related to the evidence for God (check the menu on the left).
